Weather is verry Hot all day we all drawed new Shoes and Underwear and Campaign Hats 6 Privates 3 Corp and 1 Sergt are sent to Santa Rocki where a new Hospital is establiched for the Rebel Prisoners 14 men goe on Guard including my self only 38 men are fitt for duty

 

Weather is very hot all day. We all drew new shoes and underwear and campaign hats. Six privates, three corporals and one sergeant are sent to Santa Rocky where a new hospital is established for the rebel prisoners. Fourteen men go on guard duty including me. Only 38 men are fit for duty.
