The weather is lovely. At noon we see several steamers and an hour later we saw land and many small sailing vessels. At 4 p.m. we took aboard the pilot and soon anchor and soon anchored right alongside the Hancock which had arrived 27 hours ahead of us. A good many of the officers go ashore.
