It has raigned pretty near all Night and most part of the day it raignes this is a verry quiet on account of the wet weather I had a Invatation for a dinner out on a plantation with
some german Friend and enjoyed my trip verry much had a splendid Dinner of 8 different Courses we all attened Service at the Opera House where chaplain Fleming from Colerado Regt preached and the Colerado Band furniched the Musick wich was grand the South Dacota peaple are guarding the Jails Co A 10th is on Outpost Herrington Rockwell and Georg Conn remain on the sick List
