huricane Deck we also had a good Dinner (Patetoes and fresh Meat) in the Evening we had Services again we could also hear the Band playing Amerika on the Sl Senator wich was very close up to us we made 266 Miles this day everybody is well on Board the Ship.
June 20/98 Monday
Weather is pretty but verry warm on account of some having Cramplies we all had a general Inspection |
we all got rid of them in a few days, at about 2 pm we sighet a Steamer and we all got our Mail ready in no time we signaled the Steamer wich turned out to be the chinese Steamer Peru on her Way to Frisco we got our Mail on safe the china leaves us today in Order to get coaled at Honululu before we arrived this day we covered 274 Miles |
