Monday July 10/99
It is still raignen and the Water is still rough all are buisy writing letters as the Hancock left at 5 o Clock for Yokohoma but we will not leave until Morning

Tuesday July 11/99
The day is fine we left at 4 am and everything is cleaned up the Sea is niece and calm we are running verry slow we have niese Senery on both Sides every one is delighted with the Trip
Wednesday July 12/96
The Weather is lovely we are going through the Inland Sea but are making but 7 Knots a hour all are well on Board bot the Colonel is verry poorly

Thursday July 13/96
The Weather is fine and we are enjoying the beautiful Sceneries we are meeting many Steamships and sailing Vessel and at 8 pm we layed at the Bay where owing to darknes we ankered until Morning
