The weather is clear and very warm. We were cheered all along the route. About one mile north of Johnston we had a wreck with a freight train. One man was killed and two engines and two cabooses and four freight cars smashed to pieces. This delayed us about two hours. We stopped at Greensburg, Pittsburgh, Allegheny and Mansfield and Canton, Ohio. We made a good run during the night.
