This is a nice day Co C is on Guard at the prison some moore Rumors a afloat about going home it is stated that the 10th Regiment is posivily going home on the City of Paramside of 10 days another Rumor says we are going home on or about the 10th November we also hear that the Spaniards will get back the Philipine Island in the Evening went and visited the Ladies of Read Cross Society and had a nice time every thing was quiet about our Quarters Captain Bierer is on duty again. Christopher Baird Miller Daugherty Twist x Knotts are on the Sick List
This is a nice day. Company C is on guard at the prison. Some more rumors are afloat about going home. It is stated that the 10th Regiment is possibly going home on the City of Paramside in ten days. Another rumor says we are going home on or about the tecth of November. We also hear that the Spaniards will get back the Philippine Islands. In the evening, went and visited the Ladies of the Red Cross Society and had a nice time. Everything was quiet about out quarters. Captain [Daniel] Bierer is on duty again. [Frank] Christopher, [James] Baird, [George] Miller, [Homer] Daugherty, [David] Twist and [George] Knotts are on the sick list.
