The Sea has been rough all Night all the Canvas had to be taken down we could scarcely stay on Deck long anough to get our Meals each time we got soaking wet as the Swels came clear over the Boast I was seasick with so many others the Guard on Deck where taking off during the Night

The Weather as rough and the Sea is high and ones more we
have to spent most of our time down in the Hole but we have plenty of fresh Air

Sunday July 23/99
This is a lovely day and the Water is calm we have Servise in the Officers Dining and Sosrel Room at 1030 am both Room where filled and in the Evening we had specielly Servise in Memorium for our dead Colonel all of us not on duty attented the chaplain preached a
